Rules

1. Be respectful of others. You should know what is considered to be disrespectful.

2. God-moding, which being far too powerful for the level of legitimate development you've roleplayed through with your character, is not allowed. When you start roleplaying, you will not be all powerful. Part of the fun in role playing is building up your character.

3. Powerplaying, which controlling another person's character without their permission, is also prohibited.

4. When roleplaying with multiple people, make sure you have the time to invest in completing that thread. That said, it is perfectly accepted for you to be ignored or thrown from the thread if you should not reply within two weeks at max (unless otherwise noted in the Leave of Absence board).

5. The Story or Main Plot-line behind the site is very loose in nature. Thus, creating new Story lines that complement the general background of the site is completely acceptable and encouraged.

6.We encourage our members to not only have fun but also to improve as writers. We expect our members to be proud of their work and thus we encourage everyone to write four to five lines of quality material. Focusing on the environment around, how your character feels, and the actions of other roleplayer allow for more than enough to write about.

7.Please make an effort when it comes to proper grammar and punctuation. Occasional mistakes are, of course, okay but offenders who can’t follow this rules will be asked to edit their posts. Writing your posts in a Word Processor is extremely helpful in this regard.

8. Mythos would probably be rated 'Mature' so sex is allowed. However, do warn readers in parenthesis in the Thread Title if there will sex in the thread. This includes any homosexual activity.

9. Resist the urge to SPAM anywhere on the forums.

10. Prospective applicants do not need to read all of every page to apply. You only need to read what pertains to you! Everyone should, however, read the "Story" page and most of the "Other Information" page. The "Other Information" is important because it shows you how to apply.

11. Don't use characters from other games, books, or stories without consulting an administrator first. We prefer original characters.
